Financial Benefits Credit Union
Financial Benefits Credit Union is a California State licensed not-for-profit service cooperative. Established in 1931 as Railway Employees Credit Union, our name was changed in 1996 in order to reflect our diverse membership.
FBCU currently provides credit union membership benefits to over 1500 companies. FBCU also serves those who live and work in the city of Alameda, California and employees of companies belonging to the Better Business Bureau of Northern California and the Emeryville Chamber of Commerce. Relatives of current members are also welcomed to join.
Our mission is to provide our members with superior personal service, highly competitive loan rates and terms, great returns on investments, and lower fees.
Your Insured Deposits
Financial Benefits Credit Union’s member share accounts are each insured to $250,000.00 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) an agency of the US Government. The NCUSIF is fully funded and capitalized at the maximum level required by Federal Law.
